*About us:
The Medical Education Unit is where learning, support and great beginnings come together! We help PGY1, PGY2 and International Medical Graduates navigate the early years of their careers through engaging education, practical training, orientation, wellbeing and career support.
We work with supervisors and key stakeholders to create learning experiences that help doctors learn, grow and thrive, while keeping our programs aligned with Australian Medical Council standards.
We also play a key support role in Prevocational Medical Accreditation Queensland (PMAQ) accreditation, working alongside Senior and Principal Medical Education Officers and the Director of Clinical Training.
About the role
Keep things running smoothly. Provide high-level administrative and confidential support to the Director of Clinical Training, PMEO, MEO and project team, while keeping the MEU front desk welcoming, professional and stakeholder friendly.
Be the organisational whiz. Coordinate meetings and training sessions, from agendas and minutes to room bookings, set-up and everything in between. Keep communication transparent, polished and on point.
Keep the admin and systems humming. Use Queensland Health systems and technology with confidence, maintain accurate data, support S4HANA and HR processes, and keep ordering, receipting and other day-to-day business processes ticking along.
Help us make things better. Build your knowledge of PMAQ accreditation, support AMC standards and reporting requirements, and help identify smarter ways to improve workflows, efficiency and the overall MEU experience.
About you
Can juggle priorities, meet deadlines and stay versatile when things change, while confidently working independently.
Enjoy working with others, build great relationships and communicate clearly across a busy, multidisciplinary environment.
Accuracy is your superpower! You take pride in getting the details right and solving problems calmly and confidently.
Comfortable with computers, databases, spreadsheets and word processing, and you're always looking for smarter ways to get things done.
