Permanent Full-Time Position | Commencing January 2027

Faith Lutheran College is seeking a passionate, innovative and student-centred educator to join our Middle and Senior School teaching team as an Agriculture Teacher commencing in January 2027.

Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Faith Lutheran College offers students unique learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom. Our Agriculture program provides authentic, hands-on opportunities across agriculture, viticulture and winemaking, connecting students with contemporary industry practices and real-world pathways.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about agriculture and enjoys creating engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, practical skills and a deeper understanding of the agricultural industry.

About the Role

As an Agriculture Teacher, you will:

- Teach Agriculture across Middle and Senior School year levels.
- Deliver engaging, innovative and practical learning experiences.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the College's Agriculture curriculum.
- Support student participation in agricultural activities, excursions, competitions and industry-based learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the delivery and development of our viticulture and winemaking programs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Contribute to the pastoral care, wellbeing and co-curricular programs of the College.
- Actively support the Christian ethos and values of Faith Lutheran College.

About You

The successful applicant will:
- Hold current Teachers Registration Board of South Australia registration.




- Have relevant qualifications and experience in Agriculture, Agricultural Science or a related field.
- Be an engaging and effective classroom practitioner.
- Demonstrate strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Be committed to creating inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
- Work collaboratively within a professional learning community.
- Have an interest in, or experience with, agricultural enterprises, viticulture and/or winemaking.
- Support the mission and values of Lutheran education.
