Keeyu is a venture-backed Australian software company building an AI-powered e-commerce operations platform. Our system connects storefronts, ERPs, warehouses, carriers, helpdesks and returns systems to detect and resolve order issues before customers are affected. We work with retail and consumer brands across Australia and internationally.

About the role

You will design, develop and deliver the agentic AI systems at the centre of our platform. This is end-to-end ownership spanning backend services, frontend interfaces and the underlying AI application layer, with accountability for reliability, safety and performance in production.

Responsibilities

Design, build and operate AI agent systems in production, including agent planning, tool and function calling, memory and context management, error recovery, fallback logic and human-in-the-loop escalation paths.

Develop backend services and frontend interfaces for AI-driven features.

Build evaluation and guardrail infrastructure for non-deterministic system behaviour.





Own the full lifecycle from architecture through to production operation.

Skills and experience required

Degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline.

At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.

Demonstrated hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI systems in production, meaning autonomous agents taking real actions against live commercial systems, as distinct from prototypes or conversational AI features.

Solid proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

Hands-on expertise with large language model APIs, agent frameworks, prompt and context engineering, tool calling and orchestration patterns.

Full-stack capability across backend, frontend (React) and AI application layers.

Experience designing and operating production-grade systems for reliability, scalability and performance.

Pay: $170,000.00 – $190,209.03 per year
