Coastal Vibe Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable casual cleaner to join our team servicing Airbnb and holiday properties throughout the Jervis Bay area.
Holiday property cleans are generally completed between 10am and 3pm, between guest check-out and check-in. Most properties are located around Huskisson, Vincentia, Sanctuary Point and surrounding Jervis Bay areas.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Making beds and preparing properties for arriving guests
- Restocking guest supplies
- Following individual property instructions and checklists
- Checking details such as glass, mirrors, chrome and overall presentation
- Completing a final check to ensure the entire property is clean, well presented and guest-ready
This is fast-paced holiday accommodation cleaning, so both quality and efficiency are significant.
About you
Attention to detail is a big part of this role. Holiday properties need to be more than simply clean — they need to be completely guest-ready and well presented for arriving guests.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in the finished result
- Is reliable and communicates well
- Can work efficiently within holiday-property turnaround times
- Can follow detailed instructions while also using initiative
- Is comfortable with physical cleaning work
- Can work independently once trained
- Is comfortable using a mobile app for job information, instructions and timesheets
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Previous cleaning, housekeeping or Airbnb experience is highly regarded, but not essential. We're happy to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, is willing to learn and genuinely cares about doing a job properly. Hours & availability
Approximately 5–15 hours per week to start, with potential for additional hours for the right person. Hours vary depending on bookings and seasonal demand.
Availability during school holidays and peak holiday periods is particularly important. Some weekend availability is required, particularly Saturdays, but this does not mean working every weekend.
This position is best suited to someone with genuine daytime flexibility, as working days and hours can vary from week to week depending on guest bookings.
