Apprentice Baker – Maggio's Cammeray (NSW)

Maggio's was established in 1998 in Cammeray and today is a thriving hub for the local community. We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Baker to join our friendly team. No previous experience is required – just a passion for baking, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.

Baker responsibilities (including but not limited to):

- Mixing, preparing and baking a variety of breads, rolls and artisan products
- Preparing doughs using traditional and modern baking techniques
- Measuring and mixing ingredients to recipes
- Monitoring proofing, baking times and oven temperatures
- Ensuring products are prepared and baked in time for daily service
- Maintaining a clean and organised bakery
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times

Requirements:

- A genuine interest in baking
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately




- Good organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Ability to use bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens and other machinery safely
- Commitment to producing high-quality baked goods
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
