About the role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you'll work alongside experienced tradesmen and develop skills across a variety of compelling projects. No two days are the same. If you are looking to commence your apprenticeship as a 1st year, or if you are already completing an apprenticeship and are looking for a change, all are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

- MIG and TIG welding
- Aluminium, stainless and mild steel fabrication
- Cutting, drilling, grinding and fitting
- Reading drawings and measurements
- General workshop skills

About you

- Genuine interest in becoming a skilled boilermaker
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and keen to work
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Some workshop, mechanical or fabrication experience is an advantage, but not essential
- Manual drivers license

About us Smoke Fabrication is a growing, locally owned fabrication business based in Palmwoods. We specialise in custom aluminium, stainless and mild steel fabrication, including vehicle trays, canopies, architectural aluminium projects and structural fabrication.
