Are you a motivated individual with a passion for electrical work and a desire to learn from industry professionals? Raffin Electrical is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop industry skills, and build the knowledge required for a successful career as a licensed electrician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to commence their electrical apprenticeship or for an existing apprentice seeking a new opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified electricians with a range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Learn and apply electrical principles, industry standards, and protected work practices.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently,
and to a high standard.
- Attend and successfully complete the required trade school component of the apprenticeship.
- Travel to various job sites as required. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn and grow in the electrical trade.
- Completed or currently enrolled in a Certificate II in Electrotechnology. Completion of, or enrolment in, a relevant electrical pre-apprenticeship course will be highly regarded.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to take direction and follow instructions from experienced electricians.
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to contribute to a high-performing team.
