About The Role The Senior Engagement Officer develops and maintains effective relationships with a range of stakeholders including departmental staff, education and cross-sectoral stakeholders and delivers timely, high-quality advice to the Minister and Chief Executive through well-developed briefings in relation to these stakeholders.
The Senior Engagement
Officer will also manage stakeholder consultation on some projects and provide advice and support on engagement and consultation to other areas of the Department where required while ensuring the management of effective and efficient processes.
The position will provide support to a department-wide approach to stakeholder engagement which provides ongoing monitoring, analysis and quality assurance of the External Relations engagement programs and provide continuous improvement to this process. The position will also contribute to the efficient organisation, operation and delivery of the programs, strategies and objectives of the Strategy and Performance Division.

Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration ASO7 $116,089 - $125,490 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
