About the role

Based on the Sunshine Coast, with in person attendance required.

As an Assessment Officer, you'll bring together regulatory decision making and customer service in a role with genuine variety. You'll work across licensing, dispute resolution and customer matters, managing a diverse caseload and helping customers and industry stakeholders navigate QBCC processes with confidence.

You'll interpret legislation, policy and procedures, consider the information before you and use sound judgement to make fair, transparent and timely decisions. Some days will be focused on progressing assessments, while others may involve phone, digital or front counter enquiries and engagement with stakeholders.

About you

You bring strong organisation and sound judgement, allowing you to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail. You communicate professionally with a broad range of people and remain focused on fair, practical outcomes when conversations or matters become complex.
