Redbank Plains Child Care Children’s Centre are seeking a passionate, driven and knowledgeable Assistant Centre Manager who has the experience and desire to lead, support and manage our team of Educators, children and families.

The Assistant Centre Manager position is a predominantly an off the floor position. Your focus will be to support our Centre Manager on a day-to-day basis.

About the role

· Assisting the Centre Manager with managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.

· Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.

· Ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning programs by our passionate educators.

· Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.

· Demonstrated educational leadership experience in early childhood settings

· Deep understanding and practical application of NQF, EYLF, and QKLG frameworks

· Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities for educator development

· Proven ability to implement cutting-edge curriculum approaches

· Excellence in documentation and educational program planning

About you





· Completed a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.

· Previous experience as an Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.

· Current blue card, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, asthma and child safety training qualifications.

· Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Showcase the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.

· Demonstrate the ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
