About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate lawyer to join one of Australia’s leading Real Estate & Development practices, working on some of the market’s most complex and high-profile transactions.

Based in Brisbane, you’ll work closely with leading Partners and lawyers across multiple offices, advising major clients across sectors including government, healthcare, infrastructure, banking, media and private capital.

The team offers genuine breadth and variety, providing the opportunity to build a strong foundation across sophisticated real estate matters while developing your own areas of interest and specialisation.

What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll advise on a broad range of significant real estate transactions and projects, including:

- Major commercial developments, urban renewal and infrastructure projects
- Office towers, industrial facilities, build-to-rent and mixed-use precincts
- Renewable energy projects
- Acquisitions and disposals across commercial, retail, industrial, residential and hotel assets
- Sale and leaseback transactions
- Tourist resorts and mixed-use developments
- Joint venture and co-ownership arrangements
- Major leasing transactions and lease negotiations
- Real estate aspects of M&A; transactions
- Subdivisions, security enforcement and property financing matters

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of matters and manage your work with increasing autonomy, while working collaboratively with experienced Partners and lawyers across the broader practice. You’ll also be encouraged to contribute to business development initiatives, including client pitches, industry events, articles and seminars, helping you build your profile and develop strong industry relationships.

About You

We’re interested in speaking with lawyers who have:





- Experience within a Real Estate or Property practice at a reputable law firm
- Experience across the acquisition, development and sale of real estate assets
- A combination of private practice and in-house experience will also be considered
- The ability to manage matters autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
- Strong commercial judgement and relationship-building skills
- A genuine commitment to continued learning, development and building a long-term career within a leading practice
