Associate – Real Estate Debt | 6-Month Contract An established global investment platform is looking to appoint an Associate to join its Sydney-based real estate investment team on an initial six-month contract.

This is a broad role supporting the investment team across the full investment lifecycle, with exposure to new transactions, underwriting, loan asset management and portfolio analytics.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded real estate investment professional who can take ownership of detailed analysis, work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute across a range of investment initiatives.

The Role The successful candidate will be involved across a broad range of responsibilities, including:

- Underwriting new real estate debt investment opportunities.
- Building and maintaining detailed financial and underwriting models.
- Supporting origination pipeline management and transaction analysis.
- Conducting market research and analysing relevant market dynamics, including supply and demand.
- Preparing Investment Committee papers, including detailed investment and risk analysis.
- Supporting transaction due diligence and closing processes.
- Analysing portfolio performance and investment returns.




- Supporting the ongoing asset management of loans, including leasing, capital expenditure, construction drawdowns and valuations.
- Supporting investor presentations and capital raising initiatives.

About You We are targeting candidates with approximately 3–6 years' experience across real estate investment, debt, funds management, property finance, investment banking or a related field.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with real estate investment analysis, underwriting or transactions.
- A strong understanding of property markets and investment fundamentals.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work through complex analysis.
