Audio Visual Officer

Location: Canberra, onsite Contract: Expected to commence 27 October 2026 and run until 30 June 2027, with two possible 12-month extensions

Clearance: Active NV1 required before commencement

We are seeking a Service Management Officer /Audio Visual Officer to support meeting rooms, presentations and video conferencing across a large government environment. You will manage audio visual requests from intake to resolution, help staff prepare for meetings and work with vendors when specialist support is needed.

What you'll do

- Set up and support meeting rooms, presentations and video conferences.
- Troubleshoot connection, sound and display issues.
- Triage requests received through ServiceNow, email and phone.
- Confirm event requirements, coordinate vendor support and keep service records up to date.
- Provide timely support when priorities change. Some work outside standard business hours may be required during major events.

What you'll bring

- Experience supporting audio visual and video conferencing systems in a corporate or government setting.
- Solid troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.




- The ability to manage competing requests and work collaboratively.
- A current Class C Australian driver licence, or the ability to obtain one.

Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, executive meetings or hybrid events would be an advantage.
