Peel Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians for upcoming FIFO shutdown work across WA mine sites.

- Upcoming mobilisation dates

- Day and night shifts may be available

Duties

- Electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs
- Maintenance of heavy mobile plant and mining equipment
- Repairs to wiring, lighting, starting and charging systems
- Testing and replacing electrical components
- Working on breakdowns and scheduled shutdown maintenance
- Completing inspections and preventative maintenance
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Working safely within shutdown timeframes and site requirements

Requirements

- Trade qualified Auto Electrician




- Previous mining or FIFO shutdown experience highly regarded
- Experience working on heavy mobile plant or mining equipment
- Solid electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets where required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Ability to provide relevant licences, tickets and site documentation
- Reliable, safety-focused and available for shutdown mobilisation
