- Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts - mobile apps

Our client, a Federal Government statutory authority based in Brisbane CBD, QLD, requires the services of six (6) Automation Testers for 12 + 12 month contracts. Duties of the Automation Testers:

- Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for mobile applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and exploratory testing of mobile and digital solutions.
- Develop and maintain reusable automated test suites that support effective and repeatable testing throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Test and validate AI-enabled features and solutions, including the accuracy, consistency, reliability and expected behaviour of AI-generated outputs.
- Develop appropriate test scenarios and test data to assess AI-enabled functionality across expected, unexpected and edge-case conditions.
- Analyse business and technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test scenarios.

Skills and Experience - Automation Testers:

- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in mobile application testing, including the development and execution of automated tests across mobile platforms.
- Skilled in testing REST API using Postman, testing Salesforce and MuleSoft based solutions, and writing automation scripts for REST API tests.




- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and reusable automated test suites.
- Expert “hands-on” technical proficiency with UI functional automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber and experience using continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and building automation test pipelines.
- Strong experience across functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing, including defect identification, investigation and management.
- Experience testing AI-enabled applications, features or services.

Desirable criteria
- Experience with mobile automation technologies such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or comparable frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
