As our next Yard Person Aviation based in Hemmant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our aviation operations by helping maintain a safe, efficient, and organised yard environment. From preparing fuel containers and conducting quality checks to assisting with equipment maintenance and workshop activities, you’ll contribute to the reliable delivery of aviation fuel solutions across Australia.

About the role

This role supports our Aviation Operations team by assisting with day-to-day yard activities, equipment maintenance, fuel handling, and quality assurance processes. You’ll work closely with operational teams to ensure equipment, facilities, and fuel products meet the high standards our customers rely on every day.

- Assist with yard operations, equipment servicing, maintenance activities, and general workshop tasks.
- Fill ISO containers and drums with Jet A1 fuel while following safe operating procedures.
- Conduct daily fuel quality control checks and support compliance with aviation fuel standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop, yard, and operational environment.
- Support stock takes, vehicle movements, and loading activities while working collaboratively with the broader operations team.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a safety-focused team player with a practical mindset and strong work ethic. You enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining high standards,



and can confidently work both independently and as part of a team.

- Hold a current Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence, with a commitment to secure work practices.
- Bring mechanical aptitude and confidence using small tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Self-motivated and reliable, capable of working autonomously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in a service, maintenance, workshop, yard, or operational environment will be highly regarded.
