About the Company:

Compound Directis a leading provider of compounding software solutions developed exclusively for compounding pharmacies. Our cutting-edge software simplifies the complexities of pharmacy compounding, empowering pharmacies to improve workflow efficiency, whilst mitigating many of the risks involved. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate, seasoned Backend Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

TypeScript (Critical): Apply strong TypeScript skills to develop and maintain scalable backend services for our cloud-based compounding software.

RESTful API Development (Essential): Design, implement and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs supporting frontend systems and third-party integrations.

Database Proficiency (Essential): Develop and maintain database functionality using MSSQL and other relational database technologies.

Software Development and Maintenance: Develop, test, debug and maintain software features and integrations, and investigate application defects and technical issues.

Node.js Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with Node.js is advantageous, as it is used within our server-side architecture.

AWS Familiarity (Preferred): Work with Amazon Web Services and the cloud infrastructure supporting our application.

Ideal Qualifications:

- Relevant commercial experience in backend or full-stack software development.
- Strong TypeScript development experience.
- Experience designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience with relational databases such as MSSQL.
- Strong understanding of software development and application integration principles.
- Experience with Node.js, AWS,



CI/CD or cloud deployment is advantageous.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, software engineering or a related field is desirable. Applicants with substantial relevant commercial experience and industry certifications will also be considered.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
