About the Role The Bread Social is looking for a Baker's Assistant to join our production bakery team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our bakers with the preparation, organisation and behind-the-scenes tasks that keep a busy production bakery running smoothly.

You don't need to be a qualified baker for this role. We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, practical and enjoys working as part of a production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and organising racks, trays and equipment for production
- Setting up work areas and ensuring bakers have everything they need
- Moving racks, trays and product throughout the production area
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of dough and other bakery products
- Supporting bakers throughout the production process
- Keeping production areas clean, organised and ready for the next stage of production
- Washing, cleaning and resetting equipment and work areas
- Following production schedules and instructions from the baking team
- Assisting with general production tasks as required
- Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

About You We're looking for someone who is:

- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Organised and able to take initiative with repetitive production tasks
- Comfortable working on their feet and being physically active throughout their shift
- Happy working in a fast-paced,



production-focused environment
- A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
- Comfortable following instructions and established processes
- Interested in learning more about bakery production
