Balaklava Community Children’s Centre is an integrated children’s centre, offering community-based long day care, out-of-school-hours care and vacation care programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

We’re looking for a collaborative and empathetic preschool teacher to join our team for term 4. The successful applicant will be working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What you will do:

- Manage challenging behaviours using positive guidance techniques.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Observe and assess children’s growth and learning milestones.
- Provide individualized attention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with families to support children’s development.
