About the role A hands-on production role baking our full range of cookies and baked goods to spec, working Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm — no nights, no weekends, no public holidays.

Key responsibilities

- Bake dough products in line with recipes and production schedules
- Operate and monitor commercial ovens
- Check product for consistency in size, weight, colour and bake quality
- Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation
- Keep the bakery, equipment and workstations clean and compliant with food safety standards
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets without compromising quality
- Report equipment faults or quality issues to the Production Supervisor promptly
- Support a safe working environment and follow WHS procedures

About you

- Previous experience as a baker or in a commercial/industrial bakery or food manufacturing environment (essential)




- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP knowledge highly regarded)
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in product quality
- Own transport preferred due to the Mount Kuring-gai location
