Join the team at Alfresco Emporium in our coffee cart at our Glenhaven store.

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Barista to create exceptional coffee and a warm, welcoming experience for our customers. Set within our premium lifestyle and homewares environment, this role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering high standards of service.

This is a casual position.

About the Role

This position combines café operations with broader retail support duties including opening and closing procedures, customer engagement, merchandising support, and maintaining operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages with consistency and care
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a premium retail environment
- Open and close the coffee cart independently
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards
- Support stock control, ordering, and replenishment
- Assist with merchandising and presentation of surrounding retail areas
- Build genuine relationships with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with the wider Glenhaven store team





About You

- Previous barista experience in a busy café or hospitality environment
- Confident working independently and managing workflow priorities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Skilled presentation and positive attitude
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Full Australian working rights
