Botanic House is a premium dining destination located in the heart of the Royal Botanic Garden. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in making great coffee, providing friendly service and maintaining high standards throughout a busy service.

About the role

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing quality coffee and supporting the wider Food & Beverage team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will work in a busy environment where consistency, speed, presentation and customer service are equally important.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and serve quality coffee to a consistently high standard.
- Operate a commercial coffee machine confidently.
- Maintain consistency across coffee preparation and presentation.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Process payments and transactions.
- Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service.
- Assist with food and beverage service when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented coffee station.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures.

About you The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café,



restaurant or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong commercial coffee machine experience.
- Good knowledge of coffee preparation and service.
- Experience using a POS system.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A positive and team-focused attitude.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Impeccable personal presentation.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A willingness to assist across the wider operation when required.
- Full Australian working rights.

Availability Flexibility is essential for this role.

Pay: $33.85 – $67.70 per hour
