Hays is partnering with an architecture practice in Adelaide seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead the evolution of digital delivery, BIM governance and technology innovation across the business.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior BIM professional who enjoys influencing strategy, improving systems and driving meaningful change across an organisation. Rather than focusing solely on project-level BIM delivery, this role will play a key leadership position in defining how digital technologies, automation, QA processes and emerging AI capabilities support the future direction of the practice.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the practice's BIM strategy, digital roadmap and governance frameworks while supporting broader business objectives around innovation, efficiency and quality.

You will work closely with project teams, technical leaders and external technology partners to establish best practice standards, improve workflows and ensure consistent digital delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and implementation of the practice-wide BIM strategy and digital roadmap
- Establish and maintain BIM standards, templates, governance frameworks and documentation
- Mentor and support project BIM leads and technical teams
- Drive workflow optimisation, automation initiatives and embedded quality assurance processes
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency through digital tools and systems
- Champion digital transformation and change management initiatives across the practice




- Support AI readiness, data governance and responsible adoption of emerging technologies
- Coordinate training, capability development and knowledge sharing across teams
- Monitor implementation progress and provide strategic reporting to senior leadership

About You To be successful in this position, you will bring:

- Extensive experience in BIM leadership, BIM management or digital delivery within architecture, construction or the built environment
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
- Strong understanding of BIM governance, standards and industry best practice
- Experience developing and implementing systems, processes and digital strategies
- Exposure to workflow automation, digital transformation or emerging technologies
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A strategic mindset combined with the ability to turn ideas into practical outcomes
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and technology adoption
