JIN GUK

JIN GUK is a modern Korean Gomtang Bar that reinterprets traditional Korean cuisine in a contemporary dining setting.

At the heart of JIN GUK is Gomtang, a traditional Korean soup known for its rich, slow-cooked broth and comforting flavours. We aim to bring this traditional dish into a modern dining experience through an open kitchen, live cooking and a carefully curated menu.

Located in Macquarie Park, JIN GUK will offer guests an approachable yet elevated Korean dining experience, combining traditional flavours with a up-to-date atmosphere and attentive service.

As a new concept and brand, we are looking for passionate team members who want to be part of the opening team and help build JIN GUK from the very beginning.

Salary

From $33.05/hr + Penalty Rates + Entitlements

Negotiable based on experience and skills

Working Hours

Casual — 30–35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and complete daily mise en place
- Prepare and cook menu items according to JIN GUK standards
- Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation
- Follow recipes,



preparation methods and kitchen procedures
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
- Assist with stock preparation and kitchen organisation
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Follow directions from the Manager and Supervisor
- Contribute to maintaining JIN GUK's food quality and overall dining experience

Previous kitchen experience is preferred. Who We Are Looking For
