JIN GUK is a modern Korean Gomtang Bar that reinterprets traditional Korean cuisine in a contemporary dining setting.

At the heart of JIN GUK is Gomtang, a traditional Korean soup known for its rich, slow-cooked broth and comforting flavours. We aim to bring this traditional dish into a modern dining experience through an open kitchen, live cooking and a carefully curated menu.

Located in Macquarie Park, JIN GUK will offer guests an approachable yet elevated Korean dining experience, combining traditional flavours with a modern atmosphere and attentive service.

As a new concept and brand, we are looking for passionate team members who want to be part of the opening team and help build JIN GUK from the very beginning.

$85,000+ + Super + Entitlements

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage overall kitchen operations
- Lead and manage Kitchen Staff and Supervisors
- Prepare staff rosters and allocate daily tasks
- Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation standards
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace standards are maintained
- Manage stock levels, ordering and food preparation




- Monitor and control food and kitchen costs
- Improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
- Work closely with the FOH team to ensure smooth service
- Maintain JIN GUK's food and service standards
- Train, develop and support kitchen team members
- Establish and improve kitchen systems and procedures during the opening period
