Eastco Construction Solutions is growing and looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our permanent team.
Eastco delivers modular building installations, site accommodation, education, commercial and infrastructure projects throughout South East Queensland and regional Queensland.
We are expanding our crews, fleet, equipment and project capability to support a strong pipeline of work from 2027–2032.
This isn't a role for one project. We're looking for someone who wants consistent, long-term work rather than patchy project-to-project employment.
The Role
This is a mix of site and workshop work, including:
- Structural steel fabrication and installation
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Modular building modifications
- Steel frames, brackets and supports
- Decks, stairs and landings
- Handrails and access structures
- Tie-down and building connection components
- Site measuring, repairs and modifications
- Reading plans and fabrication drawings
- Working alongside our Carpenters and installation crews
- Regional projects and working away when required
What We're Looking For
- Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator
- Solid welding and fabrication skills
- Structural steel experience
- Able to read drawings and work from measurements
- Comfortable with both workshop and site installation
- Current driver's licence and White Card
- Good attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
- Willing to work away when required
- Flexible for overtime and Saturday work
Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift, Dogging or Rigging tickets are an advantage. Experience in modular construction, site accommodation, commercial construction or infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
