Our client, a leading Civil Construction Company is seeking a skilled Boiler Maker / Welder to join their team. This role offers the prospect to work on various industrial projects, contributing expertise in metal fabrication, welding, and boiler making of Construction Anchors for retaining walls

About the Role

Boilermaker

Full Time Position – 5 day week (40+ hours) Hourly rate up to $50.00 - $55 (per hour for all hours worked) based on experience

Based out of Camelia however working on sites

Qualifications:

- Construction Industry White Card
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Forklift License (preferred)
- Telehandler License (preferred)
- Certificate III in Engineering and Fabrication (preferred)
- White Card
- Mig< Tig, Stik , Oxy welding

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and/or other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.
- Clean and maintain machinery, tools, equipment and the worksite.
- Perform steel fabrication, welding, cutting and repair,



both in workshop and on site environment.
- Attend site to measure up & undertake works as instructed.
- Operate plant and equipment efficiently: diagnose faults, fabricate and repair without supervision.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, maintenance teams and other trades to meet project milestones.
- Adhere to safety policies, site procedures and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions to minimise downtime.
- Where required: assist in the organization of welder work and personnel in the workshop and/or on site.

Preferred experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
