About the role

Bowen Engineering is a locally owned company working in the Local and Mining Sector. You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality workmanship on a variety of industrial, workshop, mining and commercial projects. You'll work on a variety of projects within the local and mining sector, delivering high-quality workmanship and adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate, weld, and assemble structural components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on mining mobile/fixed plant and conveyor systems
- Perform cutting, welding, metal forming tasks and other trade associated tasks
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines

About you

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG,



and stick welding in steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments
- Proven background within the industry
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
- Must have the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must be available for weekend and shift work when required

· GCAA Level Two Welding Qualifications
