We are a small, family-owned and operated business in Clontarf, successfully operating for 25 years. Due to ongoing work and growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Boilermaker/Welder to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work and is confident with metal fabrication and structural steel. You will be involved in a variety of workshop fabrication projects, with the opportunity to work on interesting and wide-ranging jobs.

Key responsibilities

- Work on a variety of workshop fabrication projects
- Measure, cut, fit and fabricate accurately
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Work with structural steel and metal fabrication
- Perform welding and fabrication work
- Maintain workshop practices and safety standards

About you

- Experience as a Boilermaker or Welder




- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Strong experience working with structural steel and metal fabrication
- Competent welding and fabrication skills
- Good understanding of workshop practices and safety
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Confidence working with a range of steel and metalwork projects
- High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Must currently live locally to Moreton Bay Region

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week, Overtime available Stable employment with an established local business
