What You’ll Do We are looking for a Brand Manager to Assist in evolving and managing the Woolworths Food Group Brand Visual and Verbal Design system, helping partners such as Cartology and Primary Connect interpret and apply these guidelines to achieve brand consistency and help drive commercial outcomes In this role, you will be partnering closely with agency partners, internal creative leads, and key cross-functional stakeholders to help orchestrate a seamlessly connected brand experience across every customer touchpoint, ensuring our brand shows up consistently, cohesively, and with cultural relevance
Key Responsibilities Include
- Brand Governance & Risk Management: Build and champion new brand enablement processes to ensure the brand system is easily disseminated and understood. Lead cooperative reviews of in-store filming, AANA/Marketing to Children compliance, and maintain brand standards across Cartology and Commercial channels to mitigate significant business risks.
- Brand Hub: Help to maintain strategically critical infrastructure like the Brand Hub.
Maintain and optimize the Brand Hub as the single source of truth for assets.
- AI & Innovation: Champion the development of AI Creative Guidelines and provide brand-led input for Agentic AI personalisation and development. Seek opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost savings for the team in the execution of brand, including development of longer term brand assets.
- Stakeholder Management: Orchestrate high-level cross-functional partnerships (Cartology, Legal, Store Ops, Primary Connect) to ensure seamless, brand-aligned delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- Stakeholder Management: Navigating complex, matrixed environments to align conflicting priorities and drive consensus.
- Brand Governance: Expert management of compliance, trademark strategies, and legal risk mitigation.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Distilling complex brand strategies into clear, actionable brand frameworks.
- AI & Digital Literacy: Practical application of creative AI tools and management of digital brand infrastructure (e.g., Brand Hub).
- Partner Management: Driving high-performance outcomes from creative and design agencies.
- Attention to Detail: Balancing broad brand guardianship with precise executional standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Brand, Marketing, or Design Enablement.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Design, or equivalent.
- Background in retail or managing brand systems across multi-partner environments.
