Echo Projects Co is a commercial builder based in Windsor, Brisbane. We deliver commercial spaces across hospitality, retail, workplace, medical and education in South-East Queensland, from new builds to landlord upgrades and refurbishments. We're a growing business with a tight, experienced team and a robust pipeline of work. We pride ourselves on clear communication with clients, subcontractors and each other, and we expect the same from everyone on the team.

About the role

This is a genuine cadet role. You'll be one of a small group of cadets rotating through the three parts of our business: projects, site and estimating. Each rotation gives you real responsibility on live commercial projects, working alongside our project managers, site managers and estimator. By the end, you'll understand how a construction business runs from first enquiry through to handover, and you'll know where you want to take your career.

What you'll do

Projects

- Support contract administration, including progress claims, variations and correspondence
- Prepare subcontracts and scopes of works
- Run document control across live projects
- Prepare project reports

Site

- Support the site team with administration, records and coordination
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers




- Learn how jobs are set out, sequenced and handed over

Estimating

- Assist with tender preparation, quantities and pricing
- Help put together subcontractor quotes and tender submissions

About you

- Currently enrolled in a construction management or related degree at university (this is a requirement)
- Clear written and verbal communication; you follow things up without being chased
- Organised, reliable and keen to learn every part of the business
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Around a year in construction (site, a builder's office or a trade) would be great, but it's not essential. If you're keen to learn and willing to work, we want to hear from you.
