Building Surveyor – Level 1 and Level 2

· Reporting to the Directors you will be working in a close knit, friendly and motivated culture.

· Predominantly focused on Class 2 to 9 buildings.

· Our office overlooks the Canning River in the Canning Bridge Precinct with great access to Public Transport (Train and Bus).

KEY ADVANTAGES

· Attractive Salary Packages – Level 1 in the range of $160k to $180k. Level 2 in the range of $110k to $130k

ABOUT THE POSITION

· Maintain and develop technical capabilities to successfully deliver services and manage risks.

· Maintain and develop client relationships.

· Prepare and issue fee proposals to clients.





· Processing projects from fee proposal through to certification/completion.

· Provide BCA compliance assessment reports.

· Undertake due diligence inspections and building audits.

· Liaise with Councils and Authorities as required.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND CRITERIA

· Formal Building Surveying Qualification / Accreditation – Level 1 or 2.

· Level 1 to have 5+ years’ relevant experience in Building Surveying with a primary focus on class 2-9 buildings.

· Level 2 to have 3+ years relevant experience in Building Surveying across class 2-9 buildings.

· Demonstrated knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and referenced Standards.

· Current Class C drivers licence.

· Ability to demonstrate strong communication and time management skills.

· Demonstrate effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient with desk-top software and applications to effectively communicate compliance solutions to key stakeholders.
