About the role

Are you passionate about working on Country and helping to restore our natural areas in the Clarence?

Council is looking for an enthusiastic person to work in our bush regeneration team.

The management of weeds through utilising bush regeneration skills across the Local Government Area is a challenging and rewarding task. The Clarence Valley contains a broad range of natural landscapes that provide plenty of diversity and variety to keep your work life interesting. In this role you will be involved in tree planting, habitat restoration and weed spraying,



while working cooperatively with assisting community groups such as Landcare.

This position is located at Council's Townsend Depot however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.

This position is only available to persons of First Nations descent.

Council applies the definition of Aboriginality as defined in the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.
