Trenton International is a well-established, family-owned import and distribution company with over 30 years of experience supplying premium products to the Hospitality Industry.

We are looking for a motivated and personable Business Development Executive to join our Melbourne-based team and play an important role in growing our business across Victoria.

This is a field-based sales role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting customers, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

You will be part of a small but active Victorian team, with the opportunity to make a real impact and take ownership of developing your customer base and sales opportunities.

About the Role

You will be responsible for

- Building, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing distributors.
- Developing new relationships with end users – hospitality groups, venues, chefs, consultants and other key decision makers.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the hospitality market.
- Calling on customers and providing product knowledge, presentations and solutions tailored to their needs.




- Encouraging and arranging showroom visits to showcase our extensive range.
- Developing and implementing effective sales plans for your territory.
- Managing your sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records, including customer activity, opportunities, follow-ups and sales plans.
- Working collaboratively with our Victorian team and national sales network.
- Travelling regionally and interstate as required.

About You We are looking for someone who:

- Has excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Is confident meeting and speaking with customers at all levels.
- Enjoys building genuine, long-term relationships.
- Is proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Has a strong commercial and sales focus with a genuine desire to grow the business.
- Has experience in the hospitality industry, foodservice or a related sales setting – advantageous but not essential.
