TS Global is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our presence across surface mining operations in the Bowen Basin. This role suits someone who enjoys getting out in the field, opening doors and building relationships that turn into lasting business.

You’ll be based in Mackay, backed by our local workshop and a team that manufactures, services and maintains materials handling equipment. You’ll have the freedom to plan your customer visits, pursue opportunities and make your mark across the region.

The opportunity

You’ll spend your time with customers: visiting sites, meeting maintenance and operations teams, following up leads and introducing TS Global to businesses we should be working with.

You will

- Find new business through cold calls, site visits and your existing industry network
- Build relationships with surface mining customers across the Bowen Basin
- Identify opportunities for conveyor products, manufactured components, workshop work, service, shutdowns and refurbishment
- Work with our technical and operational teams to put practical solutions in front of customers
- Grow existing accounts while building a strong pipeline of current work




- Follow opportunities through from the first conversation to delivery

About you

You’re comfortable walking into a workshop, picking up the phone or starting a conversation on site. You know how to earn trust, stay in touch and ask for the work. You’ll need proven experience in proactive business development, including cold calling and approaching new customers, along with established contacts in the mining sector. You’ll also bring an understanding of surface mining or the industries that support it, the confidence to engage with people from the workshop floor to senior decision-makers, and the drive to deliver results.

Conveyor or materials handling experience would be a solid advantage. What matters most is that you can build relationships, spot opportunities and turn conversations into work.
