Cafe All-Rounder / Cook

We are looking for a reliable and capable Cafe All-Rounder / Cook to join our team.

This is a hands-on role covering both kitchen and front-of-house duties. We are looking for someone who is comfortable moving between the kitchen and service area depending on what the team needs.

Key Requirements:

- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Comfortable working across both kitchen and front of house
- Able to assist with cooking and food preparation
- Confident speaking with customers and handling general FOH duties
- Flexible and willing to help wherever required during service
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Up to 30+ guaranteed hours per week, with some flexibility in roster and hours

Kitchen Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking café menu items
- Supporting the Chef during service
- Basic food preparation and mise en place
- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment when required
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food-safety standards
- Receiving and storing deliveries

Front-of-House Responsibilities:

- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Serving food and drinks
- Running food to tables
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Keeping the front service area clean and organised
- Assisting customers with general enquiries
- Supporting FOH staff during busy periods

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous café,



kitchen or hospitality experience preferred
- Comfortable cooking and working around food
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good attention to cleanliness and detail
- Able to switch between different tasks throughout the day
- Team player with a practical, positive attitude

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
