Care Services Worker – Community Care Central Adelaide SA

We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Care Services Worker to join our Support at Home Team in South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, providing support and comfort to our residents.

We have three casual vacancies currently -

One working mainly at The Laurels village in Mount Barker - Will suit candidates living in Mount Barker or the surrounding areas

Two positions in our North and Central Adelaide villages - Working mainly across Northern and Central areas in our Tea Tree Gardens and Wisteria Grove Retirement Villages.

Reporting to the Manager – Care (SA), you will be responsible for:

- Supporting and assisting Support at Home recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication prompting
- Where required, assisting with meal preparation
- Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
- Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
- Social Support and Shopping assistance

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
