Langton Property Services is an established Adelaide building maintenance company, and we're looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team.
At LPS, you'll enjoy a mix of hands-on carpentry, quoting, coordinating jobs and working directly with clients, with the opportunity to progress into a supervisory role as you grow with the business.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. No on-call. No after-hours. No weekend work.
We work with some of South Australia's largest property management groups, completing everything from everyday maintenance and repairs through to larger building works and full renovations across Adelaide.
What you'll be doing:
- Carpentry and general building maintenance
- Inspecting jobs and preparing quotes
- Coordinating trades and subcontractors where required
- Managing jobs from initial inspection through to completion
- Completing quality checks on finished works
- Liaising with property managers, clients and tenants
- Assisting with day-to-day operational tasks
- Working independently while being supported by an experienced team
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident working independently.
You'll be comfortable dealing with clients and tenants and take pride in delivering quality work. Ideally, you'll have:
- Carpentry trade qualification and relevant licence
- Current White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Experience in building maintenance, renovations and/or insurance repairs
- Confidence inspecting and quoting maintenance works
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Basic computer and IT skills
- Ability to problem-solve and take initiative
Experience coordinating subcontractors or other trades is an advantage, but not essential.
