ABOUT THE COMPANY

Join MCPBB Pty Ltd as a full-time Carpenter servicing the WA area.

We are a Western Australian manufacturing and construction services business. The company is associated with the wider Delstrat Group operations and provides a range of supporting services and products used across different stages of the building and construction process. Our business activities include earthmoving, crane hire, waste and bin hire, joinery, cabinetry and building material supply.

We are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team based in Perth Western Australia.

To be considered for this chance, you must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role hold a full driver’s licence and have full Australian working rights.

The successful candidate will undertake general carpentry work across our building and construction projects, including the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of timber & steel framed homes and fixtures.

ABOUT THE JOB

Your duties will include

- Reading and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications to determine job requirements;
- Measuring, cutting and shaping timber & steel and other construction materials;
- Constructing, assembling and installing wall frames, roof structures,



floor systems and other building frameworks;
- Installing doors, door frames, windows, flooring, internal fixtures and other building components;
- Constructing and installing formwork and other temporary structures where required;
- Installing and repairing timber & steel structures, fittings and fixtures;
- Checking completed work to ensure correct alignment, levels and specifications;
- Repairing and replacing damaged or defective timber & steel structures and building components;
- Operating hand tools, power tools and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively; and
- Working closely with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.

A remuneration package between $80,000 - $85,000 will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of relevant carpentry experience;
- Relevant trade qualification in carpentry or equivalent experience;
- Good understanding of construction drawings, measurements and specifications;
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking hands-on construction work;
- Ability to pass medical/drug and alcohol testing if required;
- Strong team player; and
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
