Opportunity Position - Cook Cove Kitchen | Newcastle Airport, NSW Casual | Approximately 30 hours per week Rotating roster | 12:30pm – 8:30pm shifts | Weekdays & nights At Cater Care, we believe hospitality is about more than what's on the plate. It's about the people who prepare it, the people who enjoy it, and the little moments that make someone's day better. We're looking for a Cook to join our friendly team at Cove Kitchen, Newcastle Airport. You'll be part of a team where everyone plays a role, whether that's preparing a great meal, helping a customer with a smile, keeping the kitchen running smoothly or simply lending a hand when it's needed.

What your day might look like

- Preparing and cooking delicious food for our customers
- Bulk cooking and food preparation
- Serving customers and creating a welcoming experience
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
- Dishwashing and general kitchen duties
- Working independently while knowing you've got a team around you
- Following food safety and hygiene standards

Desired Skills And Experience What you'll bring

- Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- Experienced in cooking in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment
- Reliable and happy to get stuck in wherever needed
- Comfortable working independently




- A team player who is willing to help others
- Available to work a rotating roster, including weekdays and nights
