About the role

Oak Point Golf Club is looking for a casual cook/chef to join our café team. You'll make sandwiches, prepare lunch from a small rotating menu and get to know the members and guests you're cooking for. You'll report to Julia, who oversees the Clubhouse Food and Beverage offers. There's also room to bring your ideas to the table through specials and future menu changes.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing sandwiches and cooking lunch service

- Making coffee when needed

- Keeping your workspace clean and following daily food hygiene practices

- Rotating stock and checking dates using FIFO

- Working with the café team to give members and guests a outstanding experience

About you

- Experience in a café or casual dining kitchen
- The ability to stay organised during service

- Barista experience is preferred, but not essential
- A friendly attitude and willingness to work as part of a small team

- Australian working rights and your own transport, as public transport is limited
