Casual Driver – The Wash Laundry Services | Adelaide

You do life, we'll do the laundry.

We give busy families, NDIS participants and local businesses their time back, and our drivers are the face of that promise. When a customer opens their door, you're who they see.

We're a small, growing local team, and we're picky on purpose. We don't do "good enough" laundry, and we're looking for someone who doesn't do "good enough" work either.

The job

You'll collect and deliver customers' laundry on set routes across Adelaide in our company van. That means loading and unloading bags, following your route and schedule, keeping in touch with the team as you go, keeping the van clean, and being a friendly, professional face at every door.

Routes cover a wide area, from Adelaide's northern suburbs down to the southern suburbs. Some shifts involve up to 5 hours of driving, including freeway driving and roadworks.

No laundry experience needed. We'll teach you everything.

Shifts (Mon–Thu, no weekends)

Monday 8:15am – 11:30am

Tuesday 7:15am – 12:15pm

Wednesday 9:00am – 11:30am

Thursday 7:15am – 12:15pm

That's around 15–16 hours a week, with afternoons and Fridays free. Hours may grow as new routes are added, and times may shift slightly as routes change.

Pay

$32.18 hr + super (casual)

What we actually care about

- A time is a promise. Customers plan their day around us. If we say 9:30, it's 9:30.
- The standard doesn't drop when no one's watching. You'll be on your own most of the shift. Phone down, drive safe,



and handle every bag like it's someone's favourite jumper, because it probably is.

- You go further. You notice things and mention them. You don't wait to be asked.
- You own it. If something goes wrong, you tell us early. We can fix nearly anything we hear about in time.

You'll need

- A current, full Australian driver's licence and a clean driving record (we'll ask to see it)
- A police check
- The ability to lift and carry laundry bags throughout a shift
- A friendly, respectful, qualified way with people
- Confidence driving long distances, on freeways, and through busy traffic and roadworks
