Fluffnbrush is a boutique, one-on-one dog grooming salon in Glen Iris, owned and operated by an experienced veterinary nurse, with a strong focus on calm handling, coat care, senior dogs and anxious or sensitive pets.

We are looking for an experienced casual dog groomer to join Fluffnbrush on a flexible basis.

This role will initially be offered on a casual, as-needed basis depending on bookings, with the potential for hours to increase over time.

About the role

- Casual shifts available Thursday to Sunday
- Days and hours will vary depending on bookings
- Complete grooms independently from start to finish
- Full grooms, tidy-ups, desheds and breed-appropriate styling
- Work with a variety of breeds and coat types
- Groom senior, nervous and anxious dogs with patience and care
- Maintain a clean and organised grooming space
- Work from a fully equipped boutique salon
- Established client base, with bookings, payments, marketing and administration managed for you

About you We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional dog grooming experience
- Is confident grooming independently
- Can complete grooms from start to finish without supervision
- Is confident with a range of breeds, coat types and grooming styles
- Has strong scissoring, clipping and finishing skills
- Is patient and confident handling nervous, senior and sensitive dogs
- Is reliable,



professional and well presented
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing high-quality finished grooms
- Communicates professionally with clients when required

Formal grooming qualifications are highly regarded but not essential where equivalent experience and competency can be demonstrated.

Fluffnbrush is a boutique home-based salon offering personalised, one-on-one grooming appointments.

We have a solid focus on coat care, double-coated breeds, senior dogs and dogs who may struggle in larger salon environments.

This position would suit an experienced groomer looking for additional casual work without needing to manage their own bookings, marketing or business administration.
