Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.

About the position MMCNQ is currently seeking Casual Educators to support shift fill across our Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres throughout Townsville.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy flexible casual work that fits around your lifestyle and personal commitments. Our Townsville services operate from 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with casual shifts of up to 37.5 hours per week available depending on service needs and your availability.

Our Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres are led by qualified leaders who support and inspire our friendly teams, with Educators who are committed to providing high-quality experiences for children and families.

What you’ll need to succeed:

- Working towards, or holding, a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR,



Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
- Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
- Passion and dedication to provide the highest standard of care for our children and families
