Casual Registered Nurse – General Practice

Northwest Health Medical Centre – Rouse Hill, NSW

Northwest Health Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis for a short-term period from 11 November 2026 to 6 January 2027.

This role would suit a practice nurse who is comfortable working independently within a busy general practice treatment room and providing a broad range of clinical nursing services.

Roster

- Thursdays and Fridays
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Casual position
- Contract period: 11 November 2026 – 6 January 2027

Key Duties

- Childhood immunisations and vaccinations
- Adult vaccinations
- Iron infusions
- Wound care and dressings
- General treatment room duties
- Assisting GPs with procedures as required
- Maintaining cold chain and vaccine management
- Infection prevention and control
- General clinical stock and treatment room management





About You We are looking for an RN who:

- Holds current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Has previous general practice or primary care nursing experience
- Is confident administering childhood and adult immunisations
- Has experience with iron infusions and wound care
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Can work confidently and efficiently within a busy GP practice
