Are you someone who take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working as part of a friendly and supportive team? Great Southern Grammar is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to help support daily operations of our boarding dining facilities.

The opportunity

- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of kitchen, dining and storage areas
- Support food preparation under the guidance of the Catering Manager
- Assist with deliveries, stock storage and kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and workplace safety
- Work collaboratively with catering, boarding and school staff
- Support the smooth and efficient operation of the boarding dining room

What you will bring

- Experience in a similar cleaning, catering or hospitality role highly regarded
- Knowledge of food handling and protected work practices
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to remain calm and productive in a busy environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
