About the Opportunity
As an Administration Support Officer, you will be at the heart of the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Department.
This casual role (covering short term vacancies and periods of extended leave) is part of a dedicated healthcare team, where your organisation, communication and customer service skills directly contribute to the smooth delivery of patient care. In this role you will:
- Be the welcoming face of Respiratory Medicine, providing compassionate and professional support to patients, families and staff.
- Keep the service running smoothly, coordinating appointments, records, correspondence, billing and daily administrative operations.
- Support clinical care behind the scenes, coordinating patient movements, testing arrangements and essential departmental activities.
- Make a meaningful difference, working collaboratively with the team, using initiative and contributing to continuous service improvement.
About You We are looking for someone who has:
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a warm, respectful and patient-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail,
with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Initiative and sound judgement, with the confidence to take ownership of day-to-day administrative tasks.
