We’re looking for a Casual Cellar Door Sales Assistant to join our team in our Bilbul Cellar Door.

About the Role

You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone who visits our cellar door. As a Casual Cellar Door Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of De Bortoli Wines, connecting with customers, sharing your knowledge and passion for wine, and helping them discover wines they’ll love. From hosting tastings and providing personalised recommendations to processing sales and preparing orders, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the customer experience.

You’ll also help keep our cellar door running smoothly and looking its best, ensuring products are well stocked and presented, the space is clean and inviting, and opening and closing procedures are completed. It’s a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great service and is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities





- Deliver exceptional customer service and host engaging wine tastings
- Promote our wines and assist customers with product selection
- Process sales, phone enquiries and customer orders
- Maintain a clean, welcoming and well-presented cellar door
- Keep wine, food and other products stocked and merchandised
- Assist with opening, closing and general cellar door operations
- Complete stock movements and follow WH&S; and responsible service requirements

About You You’re a friendly, reliable and outgoing person who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering great customer service. You’ll bring a positive, hands-on attitude, strong communication and customer service skills, excellent presentation, reliability and a willingness to learn. You’ll be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, with a genuine interest in wine and creating excellent customer experiences.

A passion for wine and food is highly regarded, as is relevant wine study or previous cellar door experience, but these are not essential.
