Jellyfish Childcare Centre is looking for a passionate, caring and reliable Certificate III Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
We are a well-established, family-owned early learning centre in Quakers Hill and are looking for an educator who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to become a long-term part of the Jellyfish team.
About the role
As a Certificate III Educator, you will work alongside our experienced educators and management team to provide high-quality education and care in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building strong and positive relationships with children and families
- Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
- Assisting with educational programs and learning experiences
- Completing observations and documentation
- Supporting children's meals, sleep, hygiene and daily routines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming setting
- Working in accordance with the EYLF, NQF and National Quality Standards
- Working collaboratively with other educators and management
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development
- Providing warm, responsive and nurturing care throughout the day
About you The successful applicant will have:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-recognised equivalent
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Current Child Protection training
- Good understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient and positive attitude
- Reliability and professionalism
- A genuine passion for working with children
