Marketing Trainee

We are looking for a creative, switched on and social media savvy Marketing Trainee to join our growing eCommerce team.

This is a full time paid traineeship where you will gain hands on marketing experience while completing a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication.

You will be working with a fast growing international eCommerce brand with customers across Australia, the USA, UK and worldwide.

This is not a role where you will spend all day filing paperwork or watching someone else do the marketing. We want someone who genuinely understands social media, loves creating content and wants to learn how brands grow online.

What you’ll be doing

No two days will look exactly the same. You will be involved in:

- Creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other social platforms
- Filming and editing Reels, TikToks and short form video content
- Coming up with creative concepts, hooks and content ideas
- Keeping across social media trends and identifying opportunities for the brand
- Helping manage our social media content calendar
- Creating graphics and marketing assets using Canva
- Editing content using CapCut or similar platforms
- Assisting with product photography and content shoots
- Writing captions and marketing copy
- Helping coordinate influencers, creators and brand collaborations
- Assisting with email and SMS marketing
- Supporting promotions, product launches and major campaigns including Black Friday
- Helping with events, tattoo expos, activations and content days
- Reviewing social media performance and learning what content actually drives engagement and sales
- Supporting the wider marketing and eCommerce team as required





Who we’re looking for You don’t need years of marketing experience. That’s what the traineeship is for.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Loves social media and understands what makes people stop scrolling
- Regularly uses TikTok and Instagram
- Is creative and isn’t afraid to suggest recent ideas
- Has an eye for valuable content and branding
- Can use Canva, CapCut or similar tools, or is keen to learn
- Has strong written communication skills
- Is organised and pays attention to detail
- Is reliable, motivated and willing to learn
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is interested in marketing, eCommerce and building brands online

An interest in tattoos, beauty, fashion, music or creative industries would be a bonus.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
